Session Chairs

Juergen Popp
Friedrich Schiller University

Session Information

This session highlights the rapidly growing synergy between artificial intelligence and biophotonics for medical diagnosis. By combining advanced spectroscopic and imaging modalities --- such as Raman spectroscopy, multimodal optical imaging, and label-free photonic techniques --- with state-of-the-art machine-learning and deep-learning algorithms, AI-driven biophotonics enables faster, more accurate, and more objective detection and classification of diseases. The session will showcase recent advances in automated data analysis, real-time decision support, and clinically relevant diagnostic applications, illustrating how AI empowers biophotonics to deliver robust, interpretable, and clinically translatable solutions across oncology, infection diagnostics, and personalized medicine.

Submitted Articles

Note: The following submitted articles are not guaranteed to be scheduled in the final program at this stage. The final presentation type and arranged session will be decided by Technical Program Committee.
