Session Information

Millimeter-wave radars boast the technical advantages of non-line-of-sight detection and all-weather stable sensing, while optical sensors excel in high-resolution imaging and fine-grained semantic information extraction. The fusion research of the two is a key academic direction to break through the bottleneck of single-modality sensing technologies. The session aims to bring together domestic and foreign researchers in relevant fields, focusing on core academic issues such as the basic theoretical models of millimeter-wave radar and optical sensor fusion, heterogeneous data calibration and registration methods, and cross-modal feature extraction and fusion algorithms. It also provides a platform to share innovative research achievements and frontier exploration progress in this field, so as to promote the basic theoretical breakthroughs and academic innovation development of multi-modality sensing technologies.
