Session Information

This session will highlight the utilization of electromagnetic fields to produce forces over the entire frequency spectrum, from microwaves to optics, or even low frequency forces such as Van der Waals. It will present recent advances in the theory and numerical simulations of electromagnetic forces and torques, from basic principles to advanced concepts such as non-Hermitian physics and the imaginary Poynting momentum of light. The session will also draw bridges between theory and practical manipulation of micro- and nanostructures for applications in biological, MEMS, and microfluidic systems.

Submitted Articles

Note: The following submitted articles are not guaranteed to be scheduled in the final program at this stage. The final presentation type and arranged session will be decided by Technical Program Committee.
