Session Information

Resonance-induced dispersion behavior in acoustic metamaterials has seen breakthroughs in fundamental principles and widespread applications in the past 20 years. This session welcomes peer exchanges in the fields of acoustic wave control and wave dynamics, including audible sound, surface wave control, ultrasound, underwater acoustics, and more. Research topics can include wave scattering, absorption, emission, and active control, as well as in-depth discussions on advanced resonance principles such as symmetry, non-Hermitian physics, mode design, dispersion engineering, and Q-factor modulation. The applications include a wide range of uses such as broadband acoustic absorption, sound isolation, manipulation of microfluidic particles, acoustic lenses, stealth technology, Purcell-enhanced emission, meta-lens focusing, non-reciprocal and time-varying metamaterials.

Submitted Articles

Note: The following submitted articles are not guaranteed to be scheduled in the final program at this stage. The final presentation type and arranged session will be decided by Technical Program Committee.
